A short time ago there was a crazy disruption in the AI world with OpenAI’s CEO informing the world he was being let go and would be going to Microsoft. Later that day, announcements started leaking about key OpenAI engineering following him to Microsoft. Microsoft’s Satya even posted a welcome announcement however, later tweets and posts talked about how OpenAI would be changing its mind and keeping its CEO, Sam Altman, as well as engineering that threatened to leave if Sam was let go.
