Hackers can unlock over 3 million hotel doors in seconds | Ars Technica

I’ve posted in the past about my experience with various forms of lock picking as well as compromising digital doors using the proxmark 3 via cloning key cards. Let’s just say there was a time a few friends of mine all got together during DEFCON and walked into a room of another buddy using digital key tool we just purchased so we could spray shaving cream on him in the weeeee hours of the night. Good times.

Here is a post about a new version of key cloning that allows the attacker to pretty much walk into any lock that is vulnerable to the exploits being used by this attack. They include a video demo of how fast and effective this digital door hack is. Check out the post HERE.
