Hackers release a new jailbreak that unlocks every iPhone – but already patched by Apple

WOW … it has been a very long time since there has been a Apple jailbreak that made the news and can unlock all versions of iPhone. Well it came and went with the latest patch deployed by Apple. For those on iOS 13.5 that did not install the latest patch, you could jailbreak your phone. Why? In the older version of the iPhone, there were a lot of really cool features that were not available, which a jailbreak allowed to unlock. Today, most features people want can be obtained without using a jailbreak but for those that want deeper access to your phone, you can do it if you didn’t patch your phone.

The Verge posted about the patch released yesterday HERE. So, if you are running iOS 13.5.1, you have patched your phone and the jailbreak will no longer work.

Iphonehacks.com provided a summary of this jailbreak. Their original post can be found HERE. If you have not patched your phone, you could use this jailbreak. Here is the post from iphonehacks.com.

Apple unveiled iOS 13, the next major iOS software update for iPhone at the WWDC 2019 in June. It comes packed with tons of new features such as Dark mode, new Reminders app, improved Maps app with the cool Look Around feature, new Photos and Video editor and improvements such as faster app launch times, faster Face ID etc.

But despite all the new iOS 13 features and improvements, there are still many reasons to jailbreak iOS 13 such as to install iFile, which gives access to the file system, tweaks like Message Customizer that lets you customize each aspect of the Messages app, ability to lock apps and folders using Touch ID and lots more.
